Grandma=Mother Earth

My mother's mother sweet dark skin Queen The head of the household commander in charge holding the fort down Unique rightous living humble and pious The courage and restraint you display in the midst of obstacles makes you my hero ,some to look up to when I am down.Always providing  when it's needed even  if it's a stranger,A true follower in the word of God Hard worker always giving and never wanting back Just that  her kids go to school and learn ,And watch ones backs Love,unity,respect is the tradition,stick together When things get hectic is what is expected Respect your elders and have manners Never leave a love one stranded Make your mess Always dress to impress,for we are mirriors of each other In your school your taught procrastination leads to something dangerous awaiting you ,Want something;go and get it Grandma you introduced me to the best friend in sunday school with the choir,Praying I don't turn out to be a thief or a liar For they go hand and hand for its a fact one's deeds wont be accepted until actions Coincide and the heart is rectified,you showed me fear is a word and life is precious Long hours of labor I witnessed in the kitchen making pies and cakes from scratch ,Washing clothes in the tub by hand living off the land like a true farmer ,You produced food,clothes and shelter
