Good riddance

i guess its really over this time
the sunlight is beginning to fade

dont look over your shoulder
although, it would'nt matter anyway

nothing can stop this crazy gloom
the emotions are flooding fast

too tired to grasp the future
when you cannot let go of the past

its exhausting loving you
the work involved is insane

it shouldnt be so hard to care for someone
although  drama is your first name

lovers wept at losing you
but i am some what relieved

you may  have bruised my heart a little
but you never made it bleed

Hi, i just turned 40. I have 3 teenage daughters and one son who is 10 years. I am married to an awesome man who has changed my life in so many wonderful ways!!! My poems are crazy sad at times... I fight my thoughts daily and it does help me to write them down. But not all poems refer to my life. I actually have a great marriage and family!!One thing i wish about this site is that we could have messageboards or chat. To discuss different poems. I actually put a request in for one hopefully you do too!! Thanks for taking the time to read my twisted poetry. Its not always good but i enjoy writing :) more…
