Good news comes like a zephyr once felt without a shock.
Bad news comes like a cyclone
once felt like crashing rock.

Good news is starting over, breaking a longtime fast.
Bad news is sinking deeper
into a chasm vast.

Good news blossoms like daisies during vernal season.
Bad news decays root systems,
decomposing reason.

Good news exalts the spirit to elevate and soar.
Bad news degrades the essence
to tyrannize or bore.

Good news nurtures with fodder, feeding the hungry heart.
Bad news depletes with pabulum,
starving performer's start.

Good news is inspiration, exhilarating dreams.
Bad news is disincentive,
catalyst to dark schemes.
