Going Nowhere

I am usually nonconfrontational
My comebacks take place in my mind
But do not take my kindness for weakness
Or you may come to find

 A roaring tigress underneath
 Strong and sure of myself
And you can't take what I don't want to give you
Including my strong sense of self

Don't think because I am quiet
That I have nothing to say
Don't try to throw me under the bus
Or try and make me go away

For I am not going anywhere
And indefinately I am here to stay
No matter how hard you try and push me out
Resign yourself to seeing my face

Because though you think I am not on your level
I am far from stupid you see
And even though you smile in my face
I know all you do and say about me

So go ahead, say what you want about me
Call me all the names you can think of
It really matters naught what your opinion is
 Only my Father God

If He Loves as He says He does
And I know it to be true
The malice you cast in my direction
Entertaining it makes me the fool

And life is too short to confront you anyway
And truly I just do not care
For I am not passing though this life alone
And He and I ain't going nowhere
