Goddess Of The Dead

Ancient inhabitants roam death's wild screams
as extraordinary beauty; sighs
on lips which capture frenzied sanity
and wrap it into admiration's wisps,
collect mania's magical romance.
Another shiver scratches sensation
while cool sentimentality billows
in the mind's religious architecture.

Marble stucco revetments crash bold bricks
through love's curves; whispers of lime and lemon
in the fascination musical scenes
throw to winds of decorative eyes.
It's a concrete construction, existence,
trapped in a second's stretched simplicity,
and the façade crumbles, is whipped away
as anger's wide angles cough polite smiles.
Strong chords' flickers thread taut veins; blue as tears,
lacelike fabric gathers emotional
distress then fashion constellations' songs
into peace-quiet sections of purpose;
candles which quiver relaxation's light.
