God's Unicorn

When the world was young
God created the unicorn
A beast of great beauty
Has be known as the unicorn
When Eve walked in the meadows
With her walked a unicorn
The horn represents death
When one attacks the unicorn
The quarters represent power
When one rides the unicorn
The trample represents pain
When one falls beneath the unicorn
The color represent purity
When you look upon the unicorn
The world has grown old
And we have lost the unicorn
When Adam had to leave the garden
Remaining behind was the unicorn
Always waiting, always watching
Is Gods beauty, his unicorns

About this poem

As well as being about a unicorn, the unicorn is a symbol of the Templars. Many of the Poems I wrote especially Tale of Swords and Barren is about the Teutonic Knights of the Medieval period accept BarrenPaladin which is about when I served in the 1st Gulf War in Iraq. Many of the poems are fantasy in origin. Both under Luke Fink and Luke A. Fink... I reclaim this poem on Poetry.com as with all my poems that have returned here...
