God's Gift

For not a single soul can be like Him, no not one
Not a single person would risk the life of their only son.
No one could even fathom to have a love so deep
To have someone think about you always, even as you sleep.
God loves you as if you were the only person on earth
and He planned out your life even before your birth.
He made you exactly how He wanted you to be
and has you where you are for a plan He can only see.
Yet He gives us a glimpse of His love so great
and how much greater will it be when we enter Heaven's gate!
There will be praises and dances, a great banquet held
and the grace of God's glory will no longer be withheld.
The best hugs will be given and kisses received
and everything confirmed of what we have believed.
Yet here on earth we are called to do His will
and all that has been promised, He will soon fulfill.
We are blessed to be accompanied while carrying out these tasks
and God gives us our desires when we do everything He asks.
So I have learned of His love and been taken into His care
and He bids me to pour out my love until it grows as fair.
