God Is Human

God is human.
So, you can be--Him (in a way) as
My lord and master.

King of the world? You are!
So treat me
Like the kingdom that I am.
Royally and regally.

Sometimes, God forgets to remember--
To let the rain come down
For much too long a time. And when
He remembers, sometimes He forgets
To let it come down gently--
On my hallowed ground
For much too long a time. Definitely,
A Heavenly "mistake." And I am sure
He remembers to forgive Himself.

God is human as to ask you--to love me
As much as you love yourself--even as I demand
Of you always--to tickle me with a hoe that
My giggle and laughter become your harvest.
