Glory Land (Ofuonyebi's Sonnet 2)

We all live in the world
But how many lives in the glory land?
Many hopes getting a rest in heaven after this world
But how many would at the end rest in the glory land?

The burden and and anxieties of this life
Causes distractions that pushes us aside
Most often, we try our best to subdue its rife
But often we found ourselves fallen outside

We work, we toil and sometimes pray
With hopes to be seen in the glory land
Yet only few are found in the roll of the fray
And the multitude who cannot join the band

Not withstanding this, i will have my portion
Notwithstanding this, there in heaven, i will take my position
