Get Real

Just cause you quiet, don't mean you innocent
It just means you aint got in touch with yo soul yet

Don't wanna open up cause of the demons inside
Only way to be free of em is to speak on them with pride

Don't be afraid of the comments, stares, or judgment
Cause truth be told the judgment only comes from those who are afraid to admit theirs

Let all the secrets out
Stop pretending to be perfect, you know guilt won't allow it

To get there you have to release the secrets hidden inside
Be willing to change and never go back

As the saying goes, Forgive but never Forget
Understand that true change can't take place

If you dont let go of the negative in life, that holds you back
That you feel uncomfortable with

Whether it be friends, family, school or other things
You can't be YOU trying to impress others

As bad as that may sound, you KNOW its true
Cause impressing others just makes you FAKE

Thats why there is always that part of you
That knows its no worth it

The part that rebels against being the SAME
Against playing what they call "GAMES"

Understand that the part of you that does that
Is the part you should listen to

Thats the truth, don't deny it
Give in to the feeling of not giving a f*ck about how they feel

Do what you know to be REAL
Quit being a Suck Up and STAND the f*ck Up

Get the b*llsh*t out ya life
Stop playing stupid, Asking yo self why you not satisfied

You already know, Aint no need to keep putting on a show
For your "CROWD", Close the curtains

And if they "BOO" at you
Tell they *ss "BOO to YOU TOO!!!"

If you gone be real, Be Real
Aint no inbetween

Real cant be Fake
And FAKE can only PRETEND to be Real

Don't get it confused
Only 1 wins the rest lose

No matter what you wanna call it
Quit pretending for pretenders

To be Real you have to Surrender
Then learn to Conquer

Stay Open

The Truth is in yo Soul
Self Spoken
