Gardens Of Perception
So many avenues to take poetry -
experimentation seems to be frowned upon,
I'll tip my syllable hat and smile with words
as minds shake proverbial fingers to say no.
Perhaps if all writers were the same inside
we'd lose the artistic flair of creation's twists,
set free wings of traditional behaviour,
paint the scenery with cool colourful patterns,
laugh within the shadows of other's anger.
In isolation's wild gardens of perception
I will dance with my own tones of subtle light,
while imagination breathes, I'll be poetic.
