From Start To Finish

Where is my inspiration?
before I run out of words to write
motivation is on a decline
disorder is on the rise
I need her to inspire me
yet I have no inkling where she is
only an idea how I feel
her face used to be burned in my mind
but I do not see her now
as I avoid any thoughts of her
scared of what I might not find
scared she will never appear
so where is my inspiration?
perhaps it will find me
searching day by day
letting her go night by night
either way...
inspiration travels to and fro
if I stand stagnant I sit desolate
with only words to write
