Friendship's Grace
My soul cries an eternity
in search of the peace only you can give.
Oh my sweet, sweet friend,
When first you spoke to me
I knew our time had come;
When first you held my hand
I knew my sorrow had ended.
Now, now is our time!
Never let it pass!
So let us unloose out laughter,
Let us sing to the wind:
Will you be going my way,
Will you stand with me
when the evening comes?
Will you love me 'till all time is past?
There is so much to be found on this earth,
Joy is waiting for us to be free!
So will you take my hand
and run with the wind,
Never to look back,
Never to be sad?
Are you going my way,
Will you be my friend?
Will you stand with me
when the end is near?
Will you walk a while beside me?
