Friendship wind

The day is long, cold, and still
A familiar wind gave me chill
I've known this breeze from the past
What do I do, how long will it last?
It's power comes from modern chimes
From trucks, and poles a line in time
I wonder what the wind will find
For me or it, or just plain nein?
A vapor that lasts an hour or two
I still don't know what to do.
Anticipate it coming again,
Or do I follow, to it's end?
You know the wind is never the same,
Some you love, some you refrain
But this good old breeze has a name.
As it came to me again
One day one hour, one friendship wind.
