Screaming, shaking running.
I try to hide.
But it always fails.
You shove your life down my throat.
It seems that you never care.
Someday, somewhere I know there is someone waiting for me.
Who he is, I guess that will be a mystery.
I want to be free, I want to love.
I want to be something you never were.
A friend.

The first 5 poems are from the poetry.com archives just as a heads up. I started writing poetry around the age of 8. I've been published in a little known book when I was in jr. high. I have also written for a few other non profit organizations as far as an adoption story (if I could find the poem I would post it). Basically, I just started to pick up writing again. If my poetry seems dark or confusing, sorry but that's how I am sometimes. I may throw a few "happy" curve balls.
