Freedom's Golden Ring



Brace yourselves for this next question that I raise,
If all men are equal, then why these people have slaves?
Here's what I'm told about my history, I hope you listen,
In 1619, slaves were brought to Virginia
The Europeans had traveled to this foreign continent,
And Jamestown was settled by English colonists
And did they break the Golden Rule to serve a root of evil?
They didn't have this nation built to serve black people
How can you justify a merchant whore that's so rotten?
You lied and said we were inferior to clear your conscious?
Oppressed his brother and caused his race many tears,
In 1776 he finally got his
