Free as a bird

MOGAMAT SHAFIEK REGGIORI

Excepting a blinding fate . I lay quiet as a cluttered corpse that breathes . Yet , through photosynthesis , paralized , my smoldering seige persists through valiant weeps . For once I yearned to fly , free as a bird that surfs the winds . Amidst the soft white clouds , it floats and feighns a mighty brawn alike a king . Hence , here I lay , whisked through the air , away from my domain , where once I reighned , alongside my brethren , fluttering in unison with a slithering breeze . My indulgent thoughts bereived . For away from fearless host with grain and bark of stealth in leaps . My eminant end is but with journey in breach .

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WRITING POETRY AND THE ODD SONGWRITING . I LIVE IN THE NEW SOUTH AFRICA AND WORK SOME HARD LABOUR AS A CARPENTER IN CONSTRUCTION .
