I opened the window
and the forest trod in
I stretched on the floor
solid as a rock protruding over the fireplace
and yet like Babylonian gardens
suspended over the thunder of waterfalls
I reached out -
my arms extending into jettisons

Give me your hand
I will carry you dry-footed
Over the stormy falling waters
