Fragile Trust
We walk alone on a silent beach
Waves slipping between our toes
So glad that you are here with me
Together, oh so close
Watch with me a sultry sunset
Embrace me like a rose
Tender, tantalizing, silken lips
To you my heart is exposed
Lay with me upon the soft, soft sand
Be gentel, I'm frightened and scared
My heart has been broken and battered before
Trusting you now is to leave myself bared
If you use me I'll be shattered
I look into your eyes and see something new
Devotion, passion, love so true
My soul so shaken for then I knew
I'd found endless love, you had broken through
A man I could trust, and never be used
Forever yours, our hearts infused
