Fortune Found

While looking over forgotten lore,
The weary eyes got lost;
The count numbered many score,
Mental exhaustion the cost;

Pitching one aside in another pile,
A fantasy scream arose;
Allomg with that there came a smile,
"To be so ever close!"

Within mind's eye, ever lusting core,
Multiple thoughts did flash;
While pouting fingers were very sore,
This had been quite a bash;

Suddenly, all at once and all again,
The last one seen in mind;
The only one which did remain,
The last one of the kind;

Speaking once, and turning twice,
The pages were unfurled;
A feeling felt so all too very nice,
Fortune found!
