Forsaken

Now that he is gone, the world will

be lost, they put him on a tree, not

counting the cost.

Spitting and ridicule, was their

aggression, he suffered and died for

them, no question.

They did not believe, that he was

the savior, crown of thorns, beatings

was their behavior.

His father looked down, he turned

away, the son was dying, the sky

turned grey.

Out of death, the promise fulfilled

to everyone his love, the spirit

instilled.

hells power was no more, the keys

taken, he assended on high, to just

the forsaken.
