Forget Not

Always forgive but never forget
Live and let live while you're not dead yet
Remember remember what evil has done
When it comes for the kill you won't be the one
Run you can run but don't close your eyes
Always be ready don't get caught by surprise

Forget not the night
Forgive as you may
Forget not the night
In light of the day

Remember remember beat steady my heart
Fear not the darkness we knew from the start
When atonement is given forgiveness is grand
It could happen again at the turn of a hand
Hide try to hide but keep what you know
Give the devil his due and then let him go

Forget not the night
Forgive as you may
Forget not the night
In light of the day

Allways be ready from beginning to end
Remember Remember for safety my friend
Days of sadness and sorrow brought badness before
Never forget it could happen once more
Stand make a stand and dare to be strong
Keep knowledge in hand to fight against wrong

Forget not the night
Forgive as you may
Forget not the night
In light of the day

Rowine Conley

Writing is not something I do--it's something I am. I have been a wordsmith since before I could write. I have now written 2 novels, 6 children's books, several short stories, and boxes full of poetry. I am now disabled but I still have a day job. I have 7 sisters, a dog and 2 cats (one has only 3 legs), A daughter, numerous "God-daughters", A son, and a few "God-sons". I am Extremely Biblical though I don't really follow organized religion. God is my life and I have truly been blessed-For God By God...Peace Out__Gypsy Row more…
