Forever?

He smiled
I smiled
Thought everything was going to be alright

Time passed
Our bond grew weaker
Distance grew
Moods become bleaker

Things started changing
You started changing
You shut me out
I felt alone

No explanations
You just sat silent
You left me as confused as ever

Was it me?
Have I changed?
I'm sorry
but I don't understand

I should've read the signs
Should have realized you weren't very happy
I take it as my mistake

Was it me?

Have I changed?
I'm sorry
I really really am

Time passed
We faded
Thought we'd last forever

Should've realised
Should've know
Forever is a really long time
