Footsteps of Doom

Just as the desert can neighbor the sea
It's waters forbidden to heal
From barren lands the waters flee
And all that you see is unreal

The caloused soul knows bitter days
It's nights are spent in reflection
Like the jinn who've lost their way
It obsesses with its own disection-

It harolds the woe, relentless in its regret
The orb of rule abdicated to chance
He has not hit bottom quite yet
Skewered at the tip of nights lance
Invisioning lillies in bloom
Awaiting for the daylight again-
