Focus

Can you see past the end of your nose
And focus on the people you see?
Or are all of your daily conversations
Filled with words such as I, mine, and me?

A few extra minutes out of your schedule
Will make someone's day worthwhile.
It takes only a moment to show that you care
With a word, a note, or a smile.

Jesus displayed His compassion for us
When He died on Mt. Calvary's tree.
Imagine if He had not taken the time
To show His love for you and for me.

So be sure to look past the end of your nose -
Focus more on others instead of you.
Let Christ's example serve as a reminder
To always keep others in your view.
