Flaming Past

As she gazed into his glacier blue eyes and saw her reflection
She realized she had been through alot to get to where she was today
She wasn't mad though
She let the tears flow
She had learned the hard way that people come and go
Even the family you love and know
Are prone to make mistakes
And yes, some people are fakes
But she learned to take the good with the bad
The happy with the sad
Live and Let love
She gave the command to release the doves
She said I do
In her heart she knew it was true
And that the time had come
She knew in her heart his love would last
It was time to let go of her Flaming Past
