Flaming Heart

Flaming heart, dripping with desire,
Living a lie, burning like fire.
Sleeping softly, lying awake,
Knowing that some can happiness make.
Not for I, my soul had died,
Knowing someone else has lied.
To give me strength, and give me wings,
And never do a thousand things.
Flaming heart, sleep thee now,
Wrapped up tight in your silken gown.
Death is but approaching fast,
Waiting for Hell to free me at last.
