Flaming Elegance

The sun came out behind the clouds
Of dismal stockade, effete vows
The room lit up as she came through the door.

Blushing bright and flaming red

Eyes of stunning, deep in thought
A frame of angels, ravish wrought
A cordial personality innate

The sun came out behind the clouds
Of dismal stockades, effete vows
The room lit up as she came through the door.

Blushing bright and flaming red
I gave up on my work and said
"Why, hello, have I not seen you before?"

"Probably..." she said....
