Fire Of Life
I fan the flames
of life,
oxygenating and
rejuvenating my fire
within.
The more I fan,
the greater the fire
and my whole body
is energized.
I feel a great warmth
and comfort,
fuelling at regular
intervals,
to keep my fire from
burning out and
as it dies down,
I fan it,
yet again.
The fire burning from
my heart within,
is my olympic flame
and shall be kept lit,
until my destiny is
determined.
Of course, I shall not
know or do not know,
when my final destiny,
is to be determined.
Nor do I wish to know
and consider it right
and proper,
to keep my fire of life,
with thoughts of the
here and now,
each day.
So long as I can keep
my fire of life burning,
I shall breathe oxygen
to do this,
until such time my fire
and the flames are
extinguished.
Thus, my destiny will
have been decided
for my self and not I
shall toil the fanning
of my flames or the
fire of my life.
