Fire

fire.
inflammatory speeches to an angry crowd
passionate kisses between lovers

fire.
burns the speaker first
consumes whatever reason left

fire.
on the heads of the disciples twelve
mold iron of faith in life's anvil

fire.
burns the soul of its heart's desire
of union with its Creator and Savior.
