Father

I looked into your eyes,
I could see your will to live.

I wanted to breathe for you,
so you could just rest.
I wanted to comfort you,
and ease your mind.,
by telling you it was alright to stay
if you like.

Although I knew better,
because God was already reaching
for your hand.

Dear Daddy,I wanted to reach inside your body, and remove your pain.
I remember how you would say"I"m alright".,,
Deep down ,I knew you were hurting.
You hardly ever complain,
How were I to know you were so sick.
You had become so quiet and humble in your golden years.

I believe you are a angel now, I can almost see your wings.

Rest now father, and take your place in God"s kingdom.
I hope to see you soon.
