Family Reunion

See we all know family matters, with out the Winslows
and which ever way the wind blows
we stay close and keep our family business in like closed windows
cause if ever im falling i know its more than one hand i can rely on
more than one shoulder to cry on
when times get rough and i don't feel i can try on
you know, proceed cause we closer than eggs in a dozen
from sisters brothers, fathers, mothers, aunt, uncles and cousins
even friends they are branches on our family tree
well i mean all aren't branches cause some are leaves
they spring into our lives til things get hot and when summer leaves
then they fall off, and be gone in the winter wind
but the family, and the friends that stick like good food to grins
yal are the scarves, gloves, coats, even muffs to the ears
that provides warmth of love happiness and good cheer
and that's why we're celebratin a tribute a 50 good years
no tires, like we can't grow tired, cause even if we fuss and fight
we know we will work things out til they're good, not just alright
see i never really seen us separate, God bless, but im always glad that we can always reunite
