Faithfulness

The love within me pounds harder each day
The closer I get to salvation the freer I am
The faith I endure holds the power of God
Destined to be successful
Passionate to be that rare species of worthy
The pain to distribute loyalty is more than honor father; its a privilege
My heart prays continuously for your mercy
My soul longs for the chance to be that creation of possibilities
Father God I may have numerous of things to work on
The dedication to you and your word I believe it to be
Yearns life for people to believe

You said to never speak untrue statements
You said if so, there will be payments
You said to respect one another, love each other
You said do and treat people the way we would want to be done
You said these are few of many duties that makes you proud
You said just continue to believe

The tears I anxiously maintain to distribute
Are for the blessings I nervously and excitingly wait to see
No matter if people trust me or respect me fully or not
I will continue to abide by your word; continue loving you and me; doing what and more I believe you want humans and the world to really be.

Tynet Hayes

I am 24 and I have so many stories to share through my poetry. I am a passionate writer because its the voice I don't have in person. Within the words there is a story with great connection to self's emotions. I release my past to get to where I am now; the start over of my life , yet, the beginning of my future! more…
