Failure

Fear eats at my sanity,
Lost with no control.
Nothing left to lean on,
No life left in my soul.

My hands are worn and weary
I couldn't keep holding on
I'm still laying where you left me
In the puddle of my own blood.

Too weak to continue
It gets harder to carry on
Yet why do you just sit there
Asking me what's wrong?

Your far from the innocent
You so strongly pretend to be
When I tried to make it
You disabled me.

Melissa Danielle Meisch

Hello...I hope you enjoy my poems. I wrote them when I was 12-14 years old and I am 20 now. I was going through alot of hardships at the time and it was the only way I could express myself. It helped me tremendously. I currently reside in Chanute, KS and just moved back from Brooklyn, NY. I have no kids, no pets...but I love being around my friends and family. =-) more…
