Faces

The North face of the mountain expresses sheer delight
for fearless summit climbers as they ascend the height.
The Two-face of the swindler expresses confidence
for bilking the innocent by incurring expense.
The Moon face of the evening expresses every phase
for cycles of ocean tides with changes that they raise.
The Sad face of the vigil expresses grave concern
for long-term disengagement from those we must intern.
The Fun face of small children expresses playful mirth
for carefree entertainment everywhere here on earth.
The Clown face of the circus expresses many moods
for myriad emotions displaying what exudes.
The "Self" face of the mirror expresses who we are
for others to acknowledge from common to bizarre.
The Cloud face of the sky-form expresses projection
for the mental images of our disaffection.
The Game face of the players expresses vying skills
for rival competition in a battles of wills.
