Face of Steel

A sucker for the aftermath
I see your silhouette of sorrow
There is not even a vision of joy
to replenish you
And your emotion is fading fast
Because your emotion is constant
But all you do is cry
The tears give you relief from something
I wonder why you can not smile
When you have reasons to
Perhaps they are not your reasons
Perhaps you simply forgot
All you want is to live and learn
You want to learn what...survival?
This is out of hand
So grab someone's hand and hold on tight
You can no longer do this on your own
Life is no longer your own
Fear is your weakness
Fear is your strength
