He gave his eyes so she could see
She left him since he's blind
He lost his sight to make her free
She must have lost her mind

He gave his care so she could heal
She left him since he's dole
He lost his work to back her deal
She must have lost her soul

He gave his skill so she could know
She left him since he's smart
He lost his shine to cause her glow
She must have lost her heart

He gave his pay so she could have
She left him since he's much
He lost his wealth to let her salve
She must have lost her touch

He gave his life so she could live
She left him since he's dead
He lost his take to help her give
She must have lost her head
