Experienced Innocence

The little girl is not prepared to talk
You didn't think about her voice
When you touched her you didnt care of her scars
You looked out for you

The little girl is not prepared to talk
You didn't want to hear her speak
When you were angry you didnt consider her scars
You embraced the bottle, not her

The little girl does not know how to talk
You didnt take the time to teach her
When she was hurting you ignored her
Assuming her pain was like dust

The woman wont talk
not when you force her to
Ignoring now that she sees not why
Ignoring now she was never taught how
