Everything Reminds Me Of You

As I watch the leaves fall
When I see a child kick a ball
All I can think of the things you used to do
Everything seems to remind me of you
As the annoucer yells "TOUCH DOWN"
When a bunch of kids pack up on each other on the ground
All I can think of is how this is what you loved to do
Everything seems to remind me of you
Watching your dad wrestle with the dog
Seeing your little brother try to balance himself on a log
All I can think of is the fun you used to have with those two
Everything seems to remind me of you
The most harsh memory I have now though is right in front of me
I stand in front of your grave site crying "oh baby"
Don't worry about me though, I'll be okay
I'm going to make it some way
Mommies going to be alright and everyone else that misses you will too
Because when we see things that you loved, liked and did it's as if everything reminds us of you.
