Every time I walk on the earth

Every time I walk on the earth
My feet touch and my toes kiss the holy land
That makes me stand straight
With its gravitational force
And allows me to take a deep breath
Every step that I take on its face
I think of its beautiful features
And its gracious heart and tolerant soul
That never complains of being hurt
By the striking bangs of our feet
And the rushing and flickering vehicles
Running on the roads and dumping of the garbage
On the pretty face of the vast silent earth
Every time I see all such scenes I feel
Regretful at my heart and kiss the land
With a soft step of my feet
To tell that I love you o' land
And the particles of thy  clay and the mud
And the grains of thy  sand
Where ever I walk on you o' land
