Eternal bliss.

Soon it will be our happy twenty-fifth.
Then I will be able to put an end to their myth.

They used to say to us, just wait a year and unhappiness you will find.
Well after a year, and knowing we were happy, they went out of their mind.

They kept putting a time limit, on the love that we had.
Why is it such a crime to be happy, why is it so bad?

In my mind I know they were jealous of all that we shared.
And that even after all of these years, we still for each other cared.

So to all the naysayers that wanted us to fail.
I say good riddance to you, you'd better set sail.

Just because you were all unhappy didn't mean that was our fate.
Even after all these years, he will still surprise me, take me out on a date.

Marriage just isn't for the weak or faint of heart.
Sometimes you have to work at it, everyone to do their part.

It's too easy to lose track of each other with these chaotic lives we live.
If we are not  ready, willing, and able each other, for our full selves to give.

When God blesses you with a love such as this.
You just say thank you for your eternal bliss.
