Enter Spring

Supernal tongues croon melodic verse
As heated beams tame winter’s curse
Receded white brings leas pristine
With colored heads midst fields of green

Bumble bees in chorus hum
In sync with all of Nature’s songs
The gentle willow tears sweep the ground
Near a fortress built on a termite mound

The winds that travelled from the north
Now taper near a grizzly’s fort
Who’s offspring eagerly anticipate
The river trek through foliaged gates

Flowers lure butterflies to feed
To satisfy their erotic need
The sun, it boasts with igneous show
With reigning rays and pompous glow

All the wild of splendors sing
Winter is gone…enter spring.
