Enchanted April

A sultry song of Swing vibrantly reeling,
My ears fixed on her voice and I smiled.
For she was the creator of the song she sang.
Sensations echo deeper than the ocean.
Yellows and greens blossom in this lushness,
Passion cries from her fiery blaze of words.
The iridescent majesty that is the sea
Was merely a place by which she sauntered.
That night the skies parted and I, steadfast,
Felt showered in blue rain as the spectacle ended.
This music, like moonlight, swept across my face.
Comforting me and rousing my soul.
