Both of us
Together
Holding our
Breath.
The love has
Died and we're
Scared to death.
On the edge of
A perilous ledge,
Teetering on the
Brink,
Starting to sink.
We've both lied
We've both cried
Neither wants to
Be the first
To have emotions
Burst.
