Dumb

'You're dumb'
'That's dumb'
'This is so dumb!'

But do you even know what dumb really means?
Dumb is a word misused daily.
More often than not, people don't understand what they say.

To be dumb is to lack the ability to speak.
It is not a form of stupidity that describes
The people you speak to, the conversations you have
Or the situation that you are in.

Dumb isn't ignorance.
Dumb is lacking the ability to misuse the word
In the way that most people around us do by saying
Those things.

'You're dumb'
'That is dumb'
'This is so.. dumb'

Speech is a right. The luxury of fulfilling that right
Is something we all take for granted and then use as a joke.
The inability to speak is now lumped to, FUSED to a word that most
See as a substitute for stupidity and lack of judgment.

Isn't that just... dumb?
