Drops Of Loneliness

I can hear rain drops outside in the dark and they seem to call out your name but yet I hear no response from you

I wish they would stop and allow the silence to come in it would make my night easier for me to pull through

Two glasses of wine and one yellow pill has yet to soften the ache that I am feeling within me now

How much loneliness would you say is fair and how much time apart should one broken heart allow

It’s not a demand that I now command from you just a simple answer I seek in hopes to ease this ache

How do you survive the time we are apart and I wonder if your heart as mine often feels the break

Maybe I’m deeper or just possibly weaker and I’m more dependant of your love and the need

If you could help me ease the pain just tell me how you survive separation and where do you silently bleed
