Drop

A drop of water on a fence of wood,
Then a web where a spider once stood,
Sun it shines bringing it to the fore,
Prisms of light and a whole lot more!

The bamboo sparkles with diamond rays,
Branches rock as the wind plays,
Shadows touch dewdrops on the lawn,
Clouds slowly pass as today is born

Birds are silent they pause awhile,
Yet in flight they show their style,
Easily they glide from left to right,
Gone in an instant and out of sight

Sun it warms when not in a breeze,
Filtering through all neighbouring trees,
Fresh and neat very tidy and clean,
Isolated from the world a self made screen.
