Dreamt into Misery

The nightmares, so real.
Close your eyes and they come.
Can't stop them or change them.
Can't wake up or run.
Everynight without fail,
Sweat, tears and pain.
Dare to sleep? Dare to dream?
It will all be the same.
To the point that you fight,
Till you're forced to give in.
Can't stay awake any longer,
The world then grows dim.
As the voice echos on,
Always there in your head.
Even life seems to hurt,
For living in dread.
Are you crazy? Have you lost it?
Or is it in control?
Better wake up and fight it!
Before misery fills your soul.

The arts have always been a part of my life. I've done studio and graphic arts as well as photography, as well as playing several instuments. I have played the violin the longest, and loved it the most. I love to write because I find that it is better in some ways for realsing built up emotions and energy in a way that the world can both enjoy and understand. It makes a statement and touches peoples hearts, and that is what I hope too accomplish someday. more…
