Dream world

Why do I need to imagine
And live in a dream world
While you're there, bit far away
What else can I say
I just want you to stay
I want to live in a dream
Where our lives will be like in a film
Everything so perfect and free
A happy ending; you see?

Living like I do is a nightmare coming true
I don't want to keep living
In a world you're not breathing
I want to sense the love I feel
Only with you; with someone real
I need to be able to feel you close to me
To hear you breathing and know you're there with me

What else would I ever ask for
Stay there in your arms forever
That nothing can ever break us apart
That you'll always stay breathing in my heart
For that I shall never wake up
Live in that dream of you and me
The only place we can be free

Shir Hanochi Claim this poet

"life isn't measured by the numbers of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away". With my poetry, I want to make more of those breathtaking moments, to put everything I feel into words and let everyone else enjoy it as well as learning from it.English is not my first language, therefore I'd like to hear any grammar or spelling mistakes. Thank you all for understanding, and enjoy reading. :) more…
