Dream With Me

We may be resting in my distant dream
of mulberry honeycomb waves and
scattered coconut fields of tomorrow

Twilight skies kiss the emerald heavens
with lilac eyes that melt the ruby sun
like bells of tangerines flying away upon dusk

When the orchid perfumes sing, hear this message
Love those crying moments that drip of desire
I'll lay cradled in wishing wells over sunburst hills.

I was born in West Virginia and raised in Kentucky. I've been writing poetry since high school and have been in many poetry circles on the internet. I am known in these circles as the "legendarylinda". I have won contests, received medals and many other merits for my poetry. I would love to travel and see the world. My hero is Jesus Christ.
